Brno - The city of Brno is beautiful. In the city is so many of the quaint type shops where you can see or buy wonderful Czech products. (china, crystal, toys, jewelry, etc.) There are also modern stores where you can purchase anything you may be looking for. They have everything. There is also everyday a market in the downtown square, I suppose depending on the time of year, we were there in October, where you can purchase the most wonderfully fresh fruit , vegetables, nuts and fruit juice and cider. Everywhere you go everyone is very friendly. It is a beautiful rustic city loaded with charm and the most wonderful architecture, and if this isn't enough, just a short drive outside the city limits is a beautiful countryside where you see landscapes that are like out of a painting or a movie, which actually some of them are in some movies now. For the avid shopper the money exchange is also very appealing.
Hotel Continental - The Hotel Continental is a very clean, well organized, well staffed hotel. Everything you need at your fingertips or just a phone call away. Beautiful restaurants, one with a breakfast buffet and another open almost all day where you can order from a great menu. I will stress that everything is very clean. The hotel is conveniently located downtown. It takes only a 10 minute walk to be in the centre of town where you find all the wonderful shops. Also at the hotel there is no language barrier, as everyone working there speaks English and a few other languages. I give this hotel 5 stars plus. Everything is done with a smile. If you have a request, it is filled before you can turn around. They have an in house laundry service. We sent a frew things for cleaning and on the paper noted we didnot need them back until the next day. We went out for a few hours and when we returned it was already done and delivered to our room. Very friendly staff who all speak English and always greet you with a smile. You can have room service or go to the very nice restaurant, where there is great service. We originally booked only four days at this hotel and then we were going to stay with some family for the remaining time of our holiday, but, the hotel and the service was so great and friendly, we stayed at the hotel for all of our eight days. There is also parking for your car if you have one. Before going on this trip I researched all of the hotels and this one offers the most extras at the best price. I loved it.

Brno - Brno has beautiful buildings and an old center charming and easy to visit.
Hotel Pod Spilberkem - The Hotel Pod Spilberkem overcame the expectations. It has a good location and a very friendly staff. We occupied an internal bedroom, spacious and silent. It has a good ratio quality/price. The breakfast buffet is good. Certainly we recommend it.

Brno - Our second visit now - both times to watch the GP. Will come back. A compact city centre and certainly good for 3-4 days. Might hire a car next time and see the wider area.
Hotel Pegas - Nice and central. We had a triple room which was spacious, clean and modern.
Staff friendly and good breafast.
On the downside as it is central & also because there is a bar/ restauarnt on the ground floor is a bit noisy through till late.

Brno - Very nice town. Worth visiting to see part of Moravia and a different part of the country from Prague.
Hotel Pegas - We had to walk a bit with luggage. Room was quite nice. It was a hot night - and we are Amercians are used to air conditioning. A fan would have been nice. Breakfast was very good. We did not realize that the hotel is located above a micro brewery/restaurant. It was wonderful and a real plus.
DiscoverCzech.com Service - Met all of our needs. The hotel was as advertised.

Hotel Pegas - Room was very nice and very well equipped. Wifi connection was excellent and very fast. The breakfast was well above average. The restaurant downstairs was very good and was of course in a micro brewery that brewed excellent beer.
DiscoverCzech.com Service - Very efficient and satisfactory!

Brno - A charming medieval town centre. Buzzing, confident and well looked after. The people were all friendly except the waitress at the airport who was clearly having a bad day and was rude to everyone.
As a tourist destination it is great for a couple of days.
Hotel Continental - No complaints at all. Helpful reception staff who spoke good English. Clean and modern room with a good view. All the elevators worked. The breakfast was fine. And it is in a very central location for the old town. Highly recommended!
DiscoverCzech.com Service - Fast and efficient.

Wonderful place to visit. Could not have gotten enough of Brno. Ate down town and took a long stroll to view the entire city. So many different shops, restaurant and beautiful settings to relax and have ice cream or beverage or something to eat.
